It's giveaway time!

Alright cats and kids, who’s up for a giveaway?!

I’ve decided that after more than a year of successful blogging, it’s high-time I rewarded my faithful readers with a little something (for putting up with my incessant ramblings!)

My friend M, over at Phoenix Fire Designs has created a beautiful necklace for one lucky reader to win!

Honestly, her work is fantastic, I love, love, LOVE her little birds nests and ‘Tree of Life’ necklaces.  M is clearly a very talented gal, and lately, she’s had a lot of trials and hurdles to combat in her private life, at the young age of 34, she’s recovering from a medically necessary full hysterectomy.

Her job doesn’t provide benefits or medical care, and, after being diagnosed, she couldn’t get health insurance (due to her condition being ‘pre-existing’), most insurance companies turned her down for coverage.  Obamacare helped her, when no one else would, and she was able to undergo the surgery, thanks to the PCIP insurance, after hitting a deductable and now has to pay a 20% copay on all her bills.

Don’t let this number fool you, 20% of a lot, is still A LOT and she’s now working her recovering butt off, to pay off the tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical bills.

She truly is an inspiration and a reminder to us all that women’s health and getting regular check ups is so very important!

Here’s the prize, one lucky winner will get one of M’s best sellers, a gorgeous Tree of Life!

The Tree of Life is a concept that’s been featured in myth, story and legend literally all around the world. Since ancient times, people have used variations on the theme. Connecting all things – the realms of the spirit, the physical, the Divine and the mundane – the roots of the Tree and the branches touch all things and bring them together in harmony.

This pendant is handmade using painstaking wire-wrapping techniques.  Permanently colored brown wire frames and encircles the pendant, and is then used as the roots, trunk and branches of the tree.  Peridot is a natural, semi-precious gemstone in the most amazing green color.  It has been considered sacred and a symbol of purity for thousands of years.  It was considered a stone of Springtime and a gift of Mother Nature by the Ancients.  It is a stone of lightness and beauty and is said to enhance wellness in the spiritually aware.  Peridot, while possessing a uniquely vivid tone of green has some natural variation in it.  Each pendant is fully hand crafted and thus one-of-a-kind.  No two are alike.

What do you have to do to win this little gem? (No pun intended!) You must write a separate comment for each individual entry you make.
