One of the ‘downsides’ of buying cheap, fresh fruit and vegetables every week at the farmer’s market, is that I buy more than I can physically consume in a week.  Therefore, towards the end of the week, I have some leftovers, last week, it was bananas.  LOTS of Bananas…

I’d taken home Jo’s bunch of bananas by accident, on top of my own bunch of bananas and I decided to have an epic banana bread bake-off! I made three different kinds of banana bread (click links for the recipes).

I have to say, I really liked them all – especially served warm.  Col ate some with ice cream and it went down quickly!

They’re all on my approved list for any upcoming bake sales the choir may have 🙂
